Advancing scientific understanding of climate, improving society’s ability to plan and respond
NOAA CAP’s session at the National Adaptation Forum will share insights directly from four regional CAP members and their frontline community partners to describe the process and early outcomes of the first wave of CAP small grants programs.

NOAA’s Climate Variability and Predictability (CVP) Program is funding eight new projects (10 academic awards, four NOAA Lab, Center or CI awards) for a two-year total of $3.961 million in FY18 intended to contribute to the goals of TPOS 2020.
The three competitions would fund interdisciplinary research on planning and preparedness to extreme weather and climate.
