The report synthesizes a workshop held in Kingston, Jamaica, May 29-30, 2014, sponsored by NOAA and USAID, in collaboration with the Caribbean Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology.

The International Research Institute for Climate and Society (IRI) will play a prominent role in the upcoming NYC Climate Week (September 22-28, 2014), including participation in the invitation-only UN Climate Summit, where President Obama is expected to address the gathering of world leaders.
The first workshop of the NOAA International Research and Applications Project (IRAP) was held May 29-30, 2014, in conjunction with the Caribbean Regional Climate Outlook Forum (CARICOF). The May 28 CARICOF was organized by NOAA, the Caribbean Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology (CIMH), the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and other partners.
