In collaboration with National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI), the CEE Division’s Climate.gov team produced a collection of image highlights for the annual State of the Climate report that is edited by NCEI scientists and published in the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society (AMS). The images will be used by NOAA and the American Meteorological Association to promote the 2022 report online and in social media in coming days.

The international annual review of the world’s climate is based on contributions from more than 570 scientists in over 60 countries. It provides the most comprehensive update on Earth’s climate indicators, notable weather events and other data collected by environmental monitoring stations and instruments located on land, water ice and in space.
