NIHHIS to host special session on Equitable Heat Resilience at International Association for Urban Climate conference
The International Association for Urban Climate is hosting a virtual poster conference from 30 August to 1 September, 2022. NIHHIS will host a session on Integrated Urban Services for Equitable Heat Resilience, and is inviting posters that focus on how urban scale climate observing and modeling can improve implementation of interventions to reduce heat risk. The session was developed, in part, through consultation with the NIHHIS Extreme Heat Risk Initiative grantees, and is an opportunity to see early results from those projects as well as similar efforts around the world. Abstracts are accepted now through 1 June 2022.
