Adaptation Sciences (AdSci) is launching a virtual webinar series focused on climate services for development challenges in partnership with the University of Arizona’s Arizona Institute for Resilience International Programs and the U.S. Agency for International Development.
Participants will learn about some of the considerations and methods for working with available precipitation science and information to advance resilience planning.
The webinar is the fourth in a series that explores relevant research and applications topics for the “Managing Water Resources Along the Coast” community of practice, jointly sponsored by CPO’s COCA and SARP programs.

Highlights from the week-long engagement included virtual demonstrations of NOAA’s Science on a Sphere (SOS) and the Climate Resilience Toolkit’s steps to resilience.
The webinar focused on climate adaptation investments, strategies for building more resilient communities, and the challenges and cost of incorporating climate considerations into local planning efforts.
Join NOAA and the Water Research Foundation, along with four water management practitioners, to learn about reevaluating stormwater design and flooding management.
