CPO attended an open house with media representatives at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio on August 3 showcasing three research aircraft used in the NOAA- and NASA-led research campaigns as part of a coordinated nationwide effort to study air quality this summer.
CPO, CSL, and NESDIS representatives joined US and international partners at a meeting hosted by the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) from May 1-5, 2023 to facilitate the coordination and long-term planning of air quality observations over North America from Geostationary Earth Orbit, including planning for NOAA’s GeoXO Atmospheric Composition Instrument (ACX).
