The first workshop of the NOAA International Research and Applications Project (IRAP) was held May 29-30, 2014, in conjunction with the Caribbean Regional Climate Outlook Forum (CARICOF).  The May 28 CARICOF was organized by NOAA, the Caribbean Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology (CIMH), the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and other partners.

NOAA partnerships highlighted at the International Conference on Climate Services

Representatives from NOAA’s Climate Program Office attended the Third International Conference on Climate Services (ICCS-3), held on December 4-6, 2013 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. This conference provided an opportunity for experts around the world to come together and share their experiences, while discussing challenges and opportunities in the transition from research and pilot activities to sustained climate services.

CPO represents the North American Climate Services Partnership in Mexico

NOAA’s Climate Program Office is the U.S. lead on the North American Climate Services Partnership (NACSP) – an innovative partnership with Mexico and Canada to enhance the development and delivery of climate services through trilateral collaboration – and CPO’s Meredith Muth represented the partnership at the biannual Mexican Climate Outlook Forum on Nov. 12 – 14 in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
