The NOAA CPO Modeling, Analysis, Predictions, and Projections (MAPP) program will host a webinar on the topic of Extreme Heat and Health: Creating Environmental Intelligence Through Science, Predictions, and Engagement on Thursday, April 28, 2016. A recently published and thorough review of the current state of scientific knowledge regarding the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC) has been published in Reviews of Geophysics.This effort was supported by CPO’s Climate Variability and Predictability (CVP) and Modeling, Analysis, Prediction, and Projections (MAPP) programs.
